Christmas turned out to be a lovely day. I spent it with my friends David and Stephanie and their 17 month old twins. Steph is a great cook and made a super meal. It was fun to spend time with them. I lost my favorite pin this week. I had had it for more than 20 years so it certainly got its use. I don’t know where it fell off. I was not terribly surprised in that it was falling apart and the pin clasp broke years ago. But I was sad. It went brilliantly with certain things and it was irreplaceable. Friday night was Mozart's Requiem at Symphony. There were two shorter works, one by Debussy and another by a composer that I had never heard of, which doesn't mean much.
